TROY, MICHIGAN – Southfield, Michigan based Beaumont Health recently launched a new way for the public to boost the morale of their healthcare workers affected by the current Covid-19 crisis.
Similar to its patient eGreetings capabilities, visitors to the Beaumont website can now show their appreciation for those doing their part to keep patients safe and well.
With the new tool, Beaumont is encouraging the public to send online greetings directed specifically at healthcare workers. Beaumont administrative staff and volunteers will then display those messages of support on the Beaumont website, so that nurses, doctors and all healthcare workers can see how much the public appreciates their efforts.
The public can select cards and send messages online at this link. The Beaumont team will then display messages at https://www.beaumont.org/health-wellness/coronavirus/thankful-for-our-health-care-heroes.
Beaumont is also asking community members to post videos and pictures on social media of themselves participating in their "Home Beams for Healthcare Teams" event.
Every evening at 8 p.m., beginning March 31, families are encouraged to step outside their front door and shine a flashlight toward their nearest hospital to show support for health care heroes across Southeast Michigan. Beaumont is encouraging people to post and use the hashtag: #HealthCareHeroes.
Beaumont Health and all the other hospital systems in Southeast Michigan, are being hit very hard by the outbreak of Covid-19. Any support and encouragement that the public can show for these healthcare workers will go a long way to help.
The Enqbator team is honored to be able to support Beaumont and our other healthcare clients during this difficult time.
