Enqbator helps launch The Henry Ford’s new inHub website, a revolutionary educational learning platform

The Henry Ford welcomes more than 1.8 million visitors annually to its four venues. Enqbator played a significant role in helping The Henry Ford give the users of inHub, a secure, smooth, and seamless user experience.
The Henry Ford is America’s primary resource for innovation, invention and entrepreneurship-related objects, documents, experiences, and stories. InHub, created by The Henry Ford as “The learning platform, built by educators for educators,” bills itself as a global resource for innovation, invention, and entrepreneurship. Through its vast collection of artifacts from 300 years of American history, The Henry Ford is making its content available to everyone, with one of inHub’s missions being to help ensure that “no would-be innovator is left behind.”
inHub supports this work by creating an online global community that offers its members a digital asset library, curriculum and learning resources, professional development and certification, and virtual field trips and experiences – all in one place. inHub will be accessible through a separate membership that opens the door to a community of like-minded individuals seeking to integrate innovation learning practices into their classrooms.
This resource also includes experiences like The Henry Ford's invention education program, Invention Convention Worldwide — a project-based learning experience where students put their learning into practice applying STEAM to real-world problems. And at the core of it all is the Model i Innovation Learning Framework, a universal language for teaching and learning about innovation and how it can be activated at every stage of the talent pipeline.
Using their years of proven experience with Progress Sitefinity (The Henry Ford’s content management system), the team at Enqbator worked closely with The Henry Ford to produce a creative and unique solution. Enqbator created thoughtful integrations between their custom learning management system (LMS) and Sitefinity in a way that allowed users to seamlessly view and register for classes. Registered courses were made available for the users under their "Profile" information where they could access their course or choose to unregister if desired. As an added layer of security, Enqbator also developed a roles and permissions-based login process, assuring that users could only see or register for courses for which they were approved.
According to Enqbator Lead Project Manager, Sagar Varma, the solution implemented utilized some of today’s top web technologies. “We created a unique combined signup and login portal on inHub within Sitefinity and a SSO process (Single Sign On) for users to seamlessly login to the learning management system for courses and digital assets,” Varma said.
Enqbator’s ability to work effectively with not only their clients, but with other related vendors, means solutions involving complex integrations are always successful.
